Violence and aggressive behaviour (VAB) continues to affect the safety and wellbeing of frontline workers across New Zealand.

The session will focus on decoding human behaviour to enhance safety and security, reduce loss, and support teams to identify early behavioural cues that may indicate shoplifting, anti-social crime, violence or weapon carry risk.
The workshop will also cover confident communication, including eye contact, tone, cadence, intonation, stance and positioning, and ways to navigate escalating circumstances towards safer and more positive outcomes.
